  1. funny anecdote: yesterday I went to my friend mike’s place and told him and his little brother to guess what guilty pleasure of a concert I attended. his little brother’s first guess was hall & oats and I loved him so much in that moment.
  2. dude, this was a really great show. he started exactly on time, he sounded awesome, bantered with the audience and performed for a solid two hours. he didn’t even make us wait more than a few minutes for the encore. (though it should be noted that I wanted 17 tacos and three encores and only got one encore).
  3. he covered one of my favorite songs of all time, ‘when the night comes’ by joe cocker. I was totally affected.
  4. he said he was going to sing a song about the birth of a horse. thankfully the song did not involve placenta.
  5. did you know that the famously romantical song ‘heaven’ was written for a movie about a male stripper?
  6. mythbuster: the summer of 69 is not written about a specific year. it is about a time in one’s life. and a sexual position.
  7. bryan adams is the first artist I’ve ever heard who actually played ‘freebird’ when the audience requested it. though clearly he was mocking us. and I’m ok with that.
  8. he did a great impression of a new yorky jewish mother
  9. apparently he wrote a song for the coast guard. I won’t hold it against him.
  10. we should go to gin tastings before all concerts.
